Document Types
Five Types of Documents
Each type answers a different question — pick the one you need, or read the difference below.
Product Catalog
Overall product line — families, grades, CAS numbers.
TDS — Technical Data Sheet
Specifications and parameters, for selection.
SDS — Safety Data Sheet
Hazards and safe handling, compliance required.
COA — Certificate of Analysis
Batch quality proof, released with each shipment.
Product Brochure
Application overview and company profile.
Which Document Do You Need?
TDS vs SDS vs COA
They serve different purposes — here is the difference in one glance.
TDS — for selection
Technical parameters and specifications: assay, moisture, particle size and other properties. Use it to check whether a product matches your process requirements.
SDS — for safe handling
Hazard identification, safe handling and transport information, in GHS format. Use it for compliance and for your safety documentation.
COA — for quality verification
Batch test results: what was actually measured for a specific batch. A COA is released with each shipment, matched to batch.
